Not All Essential Oils are Created Equal
“Oh my goodness!” exclaimed Christine, sniffing the 4th and 5th bottle of “essential oils” from the kit she had purchased at a store. “they all smell the same!” Sadly, she was correct. She had purchased a cute little kit of 10 oils, all 15 ml bottles of various “oils”. As we sampled the remaining bottles we noted very few differences between the bottles.
I then opened the peppermint I had brought with me, “Wow!” she stammered as she tasted it, “That simply blasts me away! Wow- that is strong!” She then sniffed a little lavender- a look of sheer enjoyment crossed her face. We proceeded to sample and smell while I shared my love of doTERRA’s certified pure therapeutic grade Essential Oils, the many different tests done in the research lab as well as third party labs and how to use the various oils we were sampling.
Let the Buyer beware! The kit she had purchased was basically the same price as one of the doTERRA enrollment kits, but sadly, these were chemical imitations. There were no instructions on how to use them. BUT most critical, she really shouldn’t use them because of the chemical origins which can hurt our bodies. Remember, if you put something on your skin, it is in your body very quickly!
